Dr Mark Jeffery is the Practice Principal at Surfers Health Medical Centre.

Dr Mark Jeffery has a MBBCH FRACGP Diploma in Anaesthetics/General Practitioner with General and Specialist Registration and is dedicated to providing you and your family with professional quality of healthcare across a wide range of medical and support services. Mark also provides shared antenatal care with Gold Coast Hospital.

Dr Mark has special interests in chronic disease management, GP management and Team care plans, Mental health care, skin cancer, low level laser treatment, ultrasound, pain management and shock wave treatment.

Dr Mark ensures our Surfers Health Medical Centre remain the best on the Gold Coast.

Dr Michael Shann Wilson

Dr Michael Shann Wilson

Qualifications: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Flinders University Australia 1992.

Dr Wilson will see patients for General Health which include GPMP, Care Plans, Team Care Arrangements, injections, immunisations, Japanese patients

Dr Simon Rosenbaum

Dr Simon Rosenbaum

Dr Simon Rosenbaum is an internationally recognised cosmetic doctor with more than 25 years of industry experience. He specialises in facial cosmetic surgery, breast augmentation, laser surgery, liposculpture and abdominoplasty.

Dr Simon Rosenbaum MBBS, ACCAM, gained fellowship of The Australian College of Cosmetic Surgery in 1999, and is a former president of the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australia.

Since graduating from Monash University in 1975, Dr Rosenbaum has spent extensive time training in Australia and overseas accumulating vast experience in many aspects of Cosmetic Surgery.

He has undertaken training programs in Liposuction and Laser Surgery in the United States and Europe and has been trained by some of the leading Cosmetic Surgeons in the world.

He has performed in excess of 2,500 Breast Augmentation procedures and is considered a leader in breast surgery. He has also been a teacher to other specialists in Laser and Thread Lifts, Facial Injectables and other procedures.

Dr Rachel "Ansie" Adendorff

Dr Rachel Adendorff is the female doctor at Surfers Health Medical Centre.

She is specialised in many fields including General Practice, Women's health, Menopause, Paediatrics, Mental health, Antenatal, Postnatal, Sexual Health, Contraceptive, Mirena insertion, Travel Health, and Skin Cancer. Many specific Occupational Medicines relating to Pre-Employment assessing fitness after injury, Workcover and returning to work, Diving Medicals assessing fitness to dive including recreational and commercial diving, Aviation assessments and medicals, Return to work for commercial diving and Aviation medicine fitness to fly.

Dr Rachel also provides shared antenatal care with Gold Coast Hospital.

Lynne Wu - Psychologist

Lynne is a registered psychologist in Queensland with 20 years of   counselling experience in the U.S.A. and Australia.    In addition to English, she speaks fluent   Mandarin and Taiwanese (A.K.A. Hokkien).   She has  a  wide range of  professional  work   experience  in   multi-disciplinary teams in various  cross- cultural settings  including  Hawaii  &  Colorado , U.S.A.  And Queensland, Australia.  Over the years, she has worked in  various  youth and adult  in-patient and  out-patient  programs at the  hospital,  Community Mental  Health ,  Correctional Centre and local  Medical  Centres and  Integrative health settings. 

Since settling on the Gold Coast in 1996, Lynne  has  worked   in liaison with  medical  doctors,  nurses,  other  Allied Health Professionals , complementary  practitioners for  the  local  multi-cultural communities of  Australia , Asian migrants  and international  students.  

Psychological treatment modalities Lynne has used include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Family-Based Systemic approach, Shema Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, positive psychology and Solution-Focused therapy.   Psycho-educations on Self-Esteem / confidence building;  Assertiveness skill training,  Communication Skill training ,  Social  Skill training,  Conflict Resolution , Realistic Goal Setting and Achievement  are incorporated as  suitable.

Lynne is also passionate in supporting people who are interested in self-empowerment and personal development & growth. 

Dr Kate Hayter - Chiropractor

Dr Kate Hayter

The Surfers Paradise Chiropractor, Dr Kate has a special interest sports injuries, dance related issues, rehabilitation and working with the special needs of women.

“I have a degree in Exercise Science and a degree in Biochemistry. During my education and in practice, I’ve worked closely with all kinds of practitioners. I’ve studied alongside dentists, physiotherapists, doctors, personal trainers and psychologists. So these are fields where we can cross over and help each other,” Dr Kate states.

Kate worked with the Barbados team as a direct assistant to the chef de mission. While Kate was performing this role, which included athlete management, she was asked to treat the members of the Barbados Triathlon team and provide recommendations for injury management and prevention for other team members. 

Caoimhe Holly - Podiatrist

Caoimhe Holly

Caoimhe is our Podiatrist who originates from Ireland but has called Australia home for the past three years. Graduating with a BSc Hons in Podiatry in 2015, Caoimhe has had a varied caseload of patients working in various regions throughout QLD and northern NSW. 

Aside from being part of a wonderful team at Surfers health medical centre, Caoimhe attends aged care facilities a few days a week and has established a great rapport with her older clients. Caoimhe is available for home visits.

Although Caoimhe enjoys all aspects of Podiatry, she has a keen interest in sports biomechanics and rehabilitation. This is linked to her interests in Irish dancing and Gaelic football which she takes part in 5 days a week. Caoimhe feels that being fit and healthy is great physically but equally as important for your mental health, mobility is key and this is what we want to achieve for our patients. 

When Caoimhe isn’t working or playing sports you will find her enjoying a coffee by the beach or watching a crime documentary on Netflix. Having previously completed a diploma in Forensic Science, Caoimhe would someday love to combine both interests and study Forensic Podiatry.

Judika graduated Griffith University (Gold Coast) 2018 with a Bachelor of Nursing.

Judika is fluent in the following languages, English, Sinhalese and Italian.

She works alongside our team of doctors assessing and planning nursing care, performing a variety of services and support to our patients.
