Dr Mark Jeffery is the Practice Principal at Surfers Health Medical Centre.
Dr Mark Jeffery has a MBBCH FRACGP Diploma in Anaesthetics/General Practitioner with General and Specialist Registration and is dedicated to providing you and your family with professional quality of healthcare across a wide range of medical and support services. Mark also provides shared antenatal care with Gold Coast Hospital.
Dr Mark has special interests in Chronic disease management, GP management and Team care plans, Mental health care, Skin cancer, Cosmetic medicine, Low level laser treatment, Ultrasound, Pain management and Shock wave treatment. Dr Jeffery also has his Advanced Certificate of Medicinal Cannabis.

Dr Kate Hayter
Chiropractor
The Surfers Paradise Chiropractor, Dr Kate has a special interest sports injuries, dance related issues, rehabilitation and working with the special needs of women.
Dr Kate has a passion for movement and fitness having excelled in ballet, jazz, calisthenics and athletics from a young age. She combined this passion with her knowledge of health and the strong desire to help people and enrolled into the Bachelor of Exercise Science at Griffith University on the sunny Gold Coast. It is here she fell in love with movement and biomechanics.
After completing a Masters of Medical Research in Biomedical Science (Biochemistry) and whilst working as a Chiropractice Assistant and Biochemistry teacher she applied to complete her Graduate Diploma in Chiropractic Science at Macquarie University in Sydney. Upon completion of the Dr Kate completed her Masters in Chiropractic Science before moving back to the Gold Coast.
Outside of the clinic Dr Kate is involved in Crossfit, Pole Dancing and Body Building. She loves time with her puppies and loves to travel.
Dr Kate worked with the Barbados team as a direct assistant to the chef de mission in 2018. While Kate was performing this role, which included athlete management, she was asked to treat the members of the Barbados Triathlon team and provide recommendations for injury management and prevention for other team members.
Dr Geralize Schoeman
MBChB, FRACGP
Dr Geralize Schoeman is a dedicated family GP with over a decade of practice.
Dr Geralize Schoeman acquired her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Western Australia in 2003. She obtained her fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2011.
Dr Schoeman is a renowned doctor in Surfers Paradise who works collaboratively with the patients to provide an unrivalled level of care. She is passionately interested in Women’s Health and Children’s Health.
In addition to English, Geralize can speak Afrikaans with fluency.
Dr John Wilson
MBChB, FRACGP
Dr John Wilson has been practising General Medicine in the Surfers Paradise area for over 20 years and has a large patient following.
He obtained his Fellowship in General Practice whilst working for the Royal Flying Doctor service in Broken Hill.
He is an experienced General Practitioner and is interested in all aspects of family medicine.
